Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative holding an Explore World pager. After a comfortable transfer to your hotel, relax and unwind from your journey as you prepare for the exciting days ahead. Overnight stay in Nairobi.
After breakfast, your Nairobi city excursion begins! Visit the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage (subject to availability), where you’ll witness baby elephants and rhinos being cared for before release into the wild. Later, head to the Giraffe Centre Sanctuary, where you’ll get to hand-feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes and spot warthogs and local bird species. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, set off on a scenic 6-hour drive to the spectacular Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check into your camp or lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive (4:00–6:00 PM), where you may spot members of the famed Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Witness nature in its raw beauty before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today is a full day dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. Opt for a breathtaking hot air balloon safari at sunrise or dive straight into game drives across the savannah. You’ll have the chance to observe cheetahs, elephants, lions, and possibly the Great Migration (July–October). Enjoy an optional visit to a local Maasai village to witness their enduring traditions. The Mara is also a paradise for bird lovers with over 570 recorded species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast before checking out and embarking on your return drive to Nairobi. On arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to your hotel for rest and your final overnight stay in Kenya.
