As a customer, you are in charge of your travel-planning. We know you want to remain in charge of your personal data as well. We value your trust and make it a high priority to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data you provide to us. It is a responsibility we take very seriously.

We strive to secure your data and ensure it is not used for any unlawful activities and/or purposes other than those you have given permission for. We do so by enforcing data privacy and protection in our design phase. This concept is endorsed by the leadership group and the entire team. We recommend you review this Notice and become familiar with it.

By providing personal data to us, you agree that this Notice will apply to how we handle your personal data. Furthermore, you consent to us collecting, processing and disclosing your personal data where the lawful basis for the same is contractual necessity. Under any other circumstance, we shall collect your consent before collecting, processing or sharing your data. In order to process the service requested and to ensure that your travel arrangements meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide. We collect data whenever you avail a service from us.

We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. Under GDPR, the lawful basis for our processing activities falls under contractual necessity or legitimate interest. In situations where you share information regarding health concerns, the lawful basis is vital interests. Your consent, our processing activities and the data involved is clearly documented.

We predominantly process the following types of personal data about you:

  • Contact information (such as name, telephone number, email address, residential/mailing address);
  • Loyalty program / frequent flyer details
  • Information about your dietary requirements and health issues
  • Other details relevant to your travel arrangements or to the relevant travel service provider(s)

The purposes for which we collect personal data include:

Service Fulfillment:

  • To fulfill the services requested
  • To send you requested information about the Service(s)
  • To respond to customer service requests, questions and concerns;
  • For identification of fraud or error, regulatory reporting and compliance;
  • For internal accounting and administration;
  • To comply with our legal obligations and any applicable customs/immigration requirements
  • For other purposes as authorized or required by law

Marketing:

  • For servicing our relationship with you and maintaining our brands to service you better
  • For presenting options on our website, we think may interest you
  • To facilitate your participation in loyalty programs;

With whom is your personal data shared

We do not and will not sell, rent out or trade your personal data. We must pass the information on to our partners such as airlines, hotels, transport companies immigration departments, government authorities etc. depending on the service provided to you. Our partners are professional and reputed firms that are leaders in their respective domains. Where data is shared, we take necessary steps to ensure confidentiality by implementing measures such as data pseudonymizing, wherever feasible. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your association with us as the data that we retain is necessary for completion of our services and improving your experience as a customer. You can request the erasure of your data once you wish to end your association with us. At the point, your personal data will be removed from our internal storage

Children’s Privacy
Should a child whom we know to be under 16 send personal data to us, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child to inform him or her that we must have parental consent or consent from a guardian in order to fulfill their request

Third Parties

We do not intend our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes. We only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes in accordance to our contractual terms. We do not collect or store any of your credit card information. All payments you make for the purchase of our services using your credit card are securely processed by the concerned banks/payment gateway.

Terms & Conditions

  • Until the payment is realized in full, should there be an increase in airfare or taxes, the same will be intimated and charged to you.
  • Until the payment is realized in full, the booking is subject to cancellation by the airline or Garnet Tourism without prior notice.
  • Should there be any error on the booking/ ticket; you need to report the same within 24 hours of getting an email from us.
  • Garnet Tourism is not responsible for any schedule change by the airline after issuance of the ticket, but will inform you of the same if Garnet Tourism is informed by the airlines. It is advisable to reconfirm your flight timings 24 hours prior to your flight departure.
  • All tickets are subject to date change and cancellation penalties with exception of some tickets being non-refundable but reusable later as per the rules of the airline. Partially or half-utilized tickets are non-refundable.
  • All refunds, including refund for NO SHOW shall be governed by the respective airline’s policy.
  • In cases where customer is entitled for full refund, a transaction-processing fee per ticket will be applicable.
  • All special fares are subject to certain rules and regulations and airlines may restrict upgrade to any higher class. For any clarifications, please contact the respective airlines.
  • Every open ticket has a ticket validity within which the travel has to be finished, and date change on the ticket can be done only as per the validity of ticket. Should you require further details on this, kindly contact us through our live chat.
  • Frequent flier miles will be as on the sole discretion of respective airlines. Garnet Tourism will not be responsible for any mileage guarantee.
  • Infant is defined as a traveler whose age must be under 24 months throughout the entire journey. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey then the infant fare would not be applicable and you will need to buy the ticket under applicable child fare.
  • A maximum of one infant is allowed to travel with each adult passenger. In case of more than one infant travelling with one adult, first infant would be charged the infant fare but for the second infant applicable child fare would be charged.
  • Few airlines do not allow children to travel alone (Unaccompanied Minors) or with an accompanying young adult (between 12 – 16 years of age). Before making any such booking you are requested to have it checked either with our customer care or with respective airlines.
  • You are requested to contact our customer care for your date change and cancellation requests. We will assist you as per your requirements but still there might be few cases where we will request you to contact the airlines directly.
  • In addition to the airlines date change penalty, Garnet Tourism charges a date change assistance service charge per passenger.
  • In addition to the stipulated airline cancellation fee, all airlines will also charge an RAF (Refund Admin Fee) per passenger per ticket.
  • Garnet Tourism will charge a service fee per passenger for all cancellations.
  • All bookings booked on Garnet Tourism LLC are subject to cancellation penalty levied by the airlines.
  • In case of full cancellation, refunds will be usually processed within 21 business days while in case of partial cancellation, refunds might take up to three months’ time to be processed.
  • There are times when we are unable to confirm a reservation. In the rare event that this occurs, we will attempt to reach you by phone and email so that we can rebook you. You must call us back within 48 hours to ensure that your booking is confirmed by us. Any change in the fare in the meantime shall be charged to you.
  • Before the commencement of your air travel, please check that you possess all the valid documents required for travel: passport, air tickets, valid VISA, health certificates, travel insurance, etc. Contact consulate/ airline for further details.
  • In case of cancellation, amount paid for insurance will be non-refundable, this is applicable only in case if you have booked insurance along with ticket.
  • You are requested to consult consulate/airlines to check the visa requirement for your travel. Garnet Tourism LLC will not be responsible for any visa related information.
